Build for Impact on Avalanche: Codebase Season 4 Applications are Open

Every founder knows that feeling during those late nights staring at a screen, when you ask yourself if your vision will ever come to fruition. That’s why finding the right support system is critical in the early stages of getting your idea out in the world.
In just 18 months, Codebase, the official Avalanche incubator that funds and supports category-defining Web3 projects, has evolved from a concept on paper to a dynamic accelerator supporting 25 innovative startups as they bring their visions to life on the Avalanche network.
By enhancing the focus to what founders need most: effective go-to-market strategies that drive real-world adoption, Codebase applications are now live for Season 4.
From Hypothesis to Proven Model
From the beginning, Codebase has taken both a hands-on and experimental approach to building the program itself and elevating founders. We’ve spent time in conversation with founders both inside and outside the Avalanche ecosystem to understand how support truly moves the needle.
We’ve refined our model across cohorts while experimenting with the right balance of technical versus go-to-market support, whether early or later-stage teams benefit most, and finding the right balance between a concierge-style experience and a co-founder-like level of involvement.
As we head into Season 4, we’re entering with a level of confidence that comes from listening, iterating, and responding, with a model shaped not just by our team but by the founders and teams who have come through the program.
The Codebase hypothesis is powerful in its simplicity. We believe that high-signal early-stage builders need multifaceted support to integrate Avalanche tooling effectively. This is the foundation for developing robust products and connecting with initial customers. It’s a learning process that we have embarked on with several incredible companies. Codebase isn’t just a program, it’s a community that extends beyond the accelerator experience.
Accelerating Go-to-Market Success
With approximately $1.5 million in investments and $1 million in non-dilutive grants distributed across previous cohorts, Codebase has demonstrated its commitment to fueling innovation on Avalanche. Codebase companies have so-far raised ~$7M from outside investors.
This Codebase season will stand out from previous editions with an intense focus on go-to-market execution. We’ve seen that bridging the gap between technical innovation and market traction is the greatest challenge and opportunity for founders. With our operational capacity now at full blast, we’re able to deliver even more hands-on support to help companies hit the milestones that matter.
Participants will engage in live practice sessions focused on customer-facing tactics. They’ll receive constructive critique from ecosystem founders, operators, and investors. And they’ll also gain access to an expanded network of specialized mentors providing guidance on specific areas like pricing strategy and token generation event preparation.
