Codebase by Avalanche (“Codebase”), an incubator program for early-stage Web3 startups building on the Avalanche network, revealed three winning teams from its second season: Chiss Protocol, AutoPen and Disgo. 

Following the 10-week intensive program ending with a Demo Day where founders pitched projects to over 300 investors for a chance to tap a prize pool of $1M, leaders brought their A-game to an esteemed panel of investors and the broader Avalanche community. 

To kick off Season 2, the Codebase cohort spent a week in Buenos Aires at Avalanche Summit LATAM, followed by pitch practice workshops and breakout sessions with the Avalanche Foundation Board, prominent ecosystem founders, and project leads from Codebase’s first cohort. 

“We're young, both as a company and as founders,” said one Codebase participant. “Codebase has been invaluable in helping us navigate fundraising, building, and getting the help to leverage Avalanche for our product.”

Codebase’s Web3 bootcamp-style program provides each selected team with dedicated and sustained mentorship from industry leaders, co-building opportunities with Ava Labs teams across disciplines, and weekly curriculum-driven seminars centering on best practices for building a startup. This year, Codebase learned about go-to-market and community development from guest Ty Haney, Co-Founder of TYB, an on-chain community rewards platform utilized by Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty franchise and consumer cult-following brand, Glossier. 

“In 2025 we'll be doubling-down on what worked well—a highly select group of builders, deep mentorship from the Ava Labs core team and broader Avalanche ecosystem, and an integrated storytelling coach/program,” says Michael Martin, Director of Developer Relations for Codebase at Ava Labs. “We’ll continue iterating on the loose-ends that unspool as new challenges arise, market conditions change, and the global Web3 world keeps pushing toward mass adoption.”

Codebase’s mission to maintain high-touch support for top builders continues to grow stronger through each season of cohort learning. Codebase by Avalanche received nearly 100 applications from over 20 countries for Season 2.

3rd Place  ($200,000) – Disgo

• Disgo is the next-gen marketplace where restaurants turn loyal customers into influencers, driving word-of-mouth marketing. Consumers can earn rewards, trade perks with friends, and unlock exclusive benefits, sparking powerful network effects with every share.
