Argentina’s blockchain industry—including users, companies, developers, and the public sector—is reaching a level of maturity that positions it as one of the most important in the world, which is why we chose Buenos Aires as a destination for our LATAM Summit and made entry free for locals.

We saw nearly 1500+ attendees at Konex Cultural Central and across other cultural meeting spots in Buenos Aires. From keynotes to fireside chats, workshops and showcases, meaningful solution-oriented conversations were sparked around global and local issues, specifically focused on blockchain’s ability to supplement sustainable financial systems for Latin Americans.

Distinct technological frameworks and diverse communities are shaping the business of blockchain in Latin America but what does building the business of blockchain look and feel like? Listen to the discussion with Sarina Gowland, Head of Partnerships & Business Development at Shift Markets, Martin Fernandez, Co-Founder & CBO at Sensei Node, NatyShi, Web3 Business Development Lead at Think and Dev and Juani Gallo, CEO at Amplify led by journalist Olivia Goldschmidt. The conversation explores the critical infrastructure requirements, strategic partnerships and regulatory components that play a part in fostering a thriving blockchain ecosystem in the region.

Transformation

Taking a hyperlocal approach to accelerating the blockchain talent of Buenos Aires, Aleph’s month-long experimental event brought together builders, developers, founders, VCs, and regulators to collaborate and explore how to drive innovation forward. Hannah Schiuma, Head of BD LATAM at Solana delivered a beautiful keynote (along with her daughter problem-solving on stage) showcasing the outcomes of Aleph initiative along with a broad overview of the current state of Web3 adoption and initiatives in Argentina.

Creciemiento aims to position the country as a global leader in crypto and blockchain. Focused on attracting talent and capital, revolutionizing industries like lending and digital identity, and fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem, Crecimiento is set to reshape Argentina's economic landscape.
